The
lambs, Kebab, Curry and Lamb Chop have left the EWE Centre
after being well cared for by the pupils at Esh Winning Primary.
They are off to enjoy the summer up in the delights of Weardale.
They will not be returning to the site but we would like to
repeat keeping lambs on the site next year.

We
are delighted that three new Officers have been appointed
to work to support One World Network North East in partnership
with Teesside One World Centre. Pam Barmby will be joining
the team here at The EWE Centre, while Satti Collins and Kathryn
Hull will be based at Teesside One World Centre in Middlesbrough.

Forest School meeting took place at the EWE Centre, inviting
people from across the region who are involved or just interested
in the Forest School Programme. For more information about

Schools
in Co. Durham have now broken up for the summer, and Esh Winning
is no different but we at The EWE Centre are here for the
summer so keep checking back with the website to see what
we're up to.

Pupils
from the school found a hedgehog on the KS1 side of the
school apparently in difficulty, David Etheridge, Head of
Outdoor Learning, carefully checked it out, it looked OK
so he released it in the wildlife area.

from Deerness Valley Comprehensive have been working with
Philip Wilkinson to design and build various seating which
is being installed in the grounds of the EWE Centre.
