Farming and Countryside
Education (FACE) has been asked by the DfES to compile a database
of organisations working with schools on sustainability locally
across the English regions. This is part of an initiative
to strengthen regional strategic partnerships in order to
support work which is taking place on the Education Outside
the Classroom Manifesto and sustainable development.
Details from the
networking questionnaires will be used to create a database
of regional support thus making it much easier for schools
to find out who can help them locally and how this can take
place. This database is to be made available as a resource
for teachers on the Growing Schools section of the government
site, Teachernet, and it will also be linked to the new sustainable
schools website that the DfES is currently developing.
Click
here to download the form and then e-mail it to: janet@face-online.org.uk
